Please sign up by category based on your FTP/weight in KG A: 4.0 W/kg FTP+ B: 3.2 W/kg to 3.99 W/kg FTP C: 2.5 W/kg to 3.19 W/kg FTP D: Under 2.49 W/kg FTP

The Lamb Chop Race (2019-09-05T09:10:00+00:00)

2 weeks 2 days ago

"In the chop" is an Aussie expression you won't find in classic rulebooks. But you will hear it spoken and felt in the final kilometers of a race. When ride leaders purposely cooperate to bring everyone towards the finish, "Are we in the chop?" is on many minds. Riders will use every teamwork tactic they have to conserve energy. But once the last lap hits, it’s an all-out war for the win.

Welcome to the Lamb Chop Series. Six races to push the limits of your endurance. Join Black Sheep Cycling and AHDR The Chop for six weeks of fast-paced action in a unique handicap format. What does that mean exactly? Well, a handicap race means people are grouped by skill and staggered, with slower riders taking off first. This gives everyone in every grade a chance to take the overall win. So get your racing strategy in and be precise with your PowerUps near the finish line.

Innsbruck Community Marathon, half marathon, & 10K Race/Fun Run (2019-08-25T17:00:00+00:00)

3 weeks 6 days ago

What's more fun than running a 1/2 marathon? A marathon of course! Let's warm up those legs for marathon and 1/2 marathon season with this pre-season event.

Run it as a race to see who's the fastest or find your pace group and motivate each other in a fun run. There will be four groups: Group A & B will cover the marathon distance, group C the 1/2 marathon distance, and group D a 10k.

*Please note: Group B is a Run/Walk marathon. The leader will run for 1 mile @ 5.3mph/8.5kph and walk 1 mile @ 3.3mph/5.3kph. It is expected that you stay with the leader. This marathon will take slightly longer than 6 hours. DO NOT ENTER THIS CATEGORY UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO FOLLOW THE LEADER.

Racers: please join groups A, C, or D. Social runners: join groups A, C, or D depending on your desired distance and put your estimated finish time in hours and minutes at the end of your last name. For example: Downey (3:59). This makes it easier to form pace groups based on finishing times.

If you'd like to chat, join the Zwift Runners discord channel: https://discord.gg/HvSTwXE

Finally, have fun and share your pre and post race photos on Zwift Runners FB page in the post-race/fun run report.
